a few favs...

today i thought i'd post a few of my favorite websites right now. since most of you are on summer already, i thought you could use a few new sites to look at while you're checking other people's mini-feeds...

* http://davidhorvitz.com/if/index.html

this website is particularly awesome. this guy posts things you can pay him to do. some are like a dollar and some are like 5thousand. it's great and creative and in a decade or so, i will come up with a great list and make my own website. enjoy.

(example sample follows)

If you give me $1,626 I will go to the small Okinawan island called Taketomi and send you an envelope filled with star-sand (don't worry, I've been there before, I know where to go). I will send it from there.

* http://freerice.com/

this website has been around for a while, but it's still fun and a good waste of time, since you're really doing humanitarian service. also, since costco has limited the amount of rice you can buy to 80lbs at a time, i figured this is a great way to enrage the rice limiters. so go donate some rice and improve your vocab. i'm not going to brag, but the husband and i have probably set the all time high record score. let me know what you get... we probably did better.

enjoy wasting sometime today.

prom date

Because homecoming came first, and there was the homecoming court. The five guys on homecoming court were disqualified from being in the prom court. So being prom king was being sixth most popular.

this post is just another prom look idea for ambie bear. it's purple, it's hot and it's the last one available, you'd better check it out!

dedicated to michael schofield's newest and most dedicated fan

this one is not as good as the ones i used to link to andelicious, but unfortunately those got removed and equally unfortunately i had to look through 20 pages of wall to wall face action to figure that out.

enjoy.

more puppies

so today, as usual, i had some interesting text conversations with my siblings. today's fav goes to david i...

me: did you know that they breed mini bullies and that they are awesome?

david i: haven't looked in forevs, how much?

me: $2-3000, but so worth it.

david: i got to sell a buttload of beardies to pay for that... can babies breed or are they like mules?

etc.

yes, we're about [ ] close to hatching a plan to start our own mini bullie breeding company. plus, he said he'd give david ii and i one for free. so, in the words of everyone that has ever been on rock of love (season one or two), awesome.
if you want one of these let me know... they should be ready by next christmas.

Of Puppies and Men...

I am under the impression that my debut in blogging has been anxiously anticipated by many. Well, wait no further my friends cause here I go...

I felt inspired to record a recent life changing conversation my beautiful wife and I had the other night as we were falling asleep.  I first will give the series of events which led up to said conversation. Lately, I have been going through a phase in which I love looking at pictures of puppies and I cannot help but desire one of my own.  This is very odd behavior because never before have I really wanted a dog; they're smelly, dirty, and they slobber all over you.  That being said, I can't seem to help myself, our most frequent use of Google is to view pics of these majestic canines.  These activities caused me to begin thinking about my ultimate dream fantasy pets, and so I asked my wife to compose her ultimate dream fantasy pet team, and I did the same.  Here are the photos of our respective teams, and I ask that you judge whose is better:

Alison's Team = baby arctic seal, 2 mini English bulldogs, baby bear cub, and an arctic snow leopard.

David's Team = mini English bulldog, ferocious bird of prey, murdered out jaguar, and a baby woolly mammoth for transportation.

In closing, I would like to say thanks to all those who encouraged me to begin my wonderful career as a blogger(i.e. Andelicious), and that I'm 300% sure that my team is better than Al's.  Until next time...

it's my favorite time of year again: prom season. and since i'm about a decade to old to attend prom, i thought i'd share some of the things i would pick to wear to prom if i were going. maybe this year i can chaperone. i knew i should have taught high school. so, the next few posts will be dedicated to an awesome party i will not be attending. but ambie bear, enjoy and hopefully you will have an awesome time and wear an awesome dress and drink awesome shooters.

chuang tzu: maybe the smartest person ever

Among Chuang-tzu's many skills, he was an expert draftsman. The king asked him to draw a crab. Chuang-tzu replied that he needed five years, a country house, and twelve servants. Five years later the drawing was still not begun. "I need another five years," said Chuang-tzu. The king granted them. At the end of these ten years, Chuang-tzu took up his brush and, in an instant, with a single stroke, he drew a crab, the most perfect crab ever seen.

I dreamed I was a butterfly, flitting around in the sky; then I awoke. Now I wonder: Am I a man who dreamt of being a butterfly, or am I a butterfly dreaming that I am a man?

yep...

she's the one.

andelicious: thank you so much for the belated wedding gift!  david ii loves the scrubs and i love the chocolate book, it will always remind me of the time we made you drive with us to chocolat only to be disappointed at the selection of cheap purses instead of delicious treats.  you're the best and were the best life coach during the wedding preparation.

don't worry, we'll be sending you prison break back disc by disc so you can feel like you own your own netflix.

4th of July Plans

If I had known I was gonna meet the president I would've worn a tie. Look at me, I look like a schliemiel.
-Julius, Independence Day

the fourth is fast approaching on us and i'm trying to plan something awesome. i know

this is tough to beat, but i was thinking

this might be a nice place to remember our forefathers.
who's up for a few aebleskivers and troll dolls?

not to leave anyone out...

you'd better believe this is still on for aug. 4th, willow park, cypress, ca 11am until whenever. you're invited, but costumes are mandatory. no brown paperbag vest with fringe or cowboy boots: no baskin robbins icecream pie or sherbet/white cake.

rules are rules honey.

decisions decisions...

now that the mcat is over it's time to make time for more important endeavors...

which says happy birthday to you?

so this year marks a very special occasion: the first of many andelicious/david ii birthday extravaganzas, and well, i vote for andie's previous plan of paris, but since david ii is now in the mix we're going to have to go for something, um, a little more rustic and masculine. andelicious and david ii have really been spearheading this whole event and i could not be more excited to celebrate their joint birthday in either a) a girl approved tent, or b) mexico. either one says feliz cumpleanos to me.

now all we need is

this guy blogging and we'd be set.

yep...

ambie bear is blogging.

dear reader...

it's true, i stalk you. i also stalk all of your friends. my apologies, but you just have such interesting lives.

(death stalker scorpian) *http://www.calacademy.org/exhibits/venoms/html/deadly.html

anyways, so discussing my stalking habits with steven today and then being caught by meggan really made me feel like a stalker today, but you know what? i stalk people and if you're reading this--you're stalking me, so we're even.

but, what this is mostly about is the new privacy applications on the face. how creepy are those? they alert you about who has been on your face. i don't know about you; but i don't want to know.
